ESAM believes that aviation and education are - and should be - fun for all ages! Our educators provide a variety of interactive programs designed to engage students and inspire learning. We offer both on- and off-site programs, and can adjust or create a curriculum to suit your group's specific needs. Below is a sampling of our standard program offerings. Please contact the museum office at ESAM.Office@gmail.com or 518-377-2191 Ext. 10 for additional information or to schedule your visit.
Note: Many of ESAM's programs are undergoing revision to better serve the needs of our community. Please continue to check back or contact our office as we expect to post updates on new programming over the next few months as it becomes available.
Birthday celebrations are available for all ages. Parties include a tour of the museum and a hands-on activity led by one of our trained facilitators. Selecting a birthday party entitles you to use of a room for your party but please note that food, drink, and party supplies are not provided. Parties are available year-round with advance reservation required. A guaranteed number of people attending and payment needed within 5 days of date. Call (518) 377-2191 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org for specific pricing.
From the moment your students arrive, they will be on a site that is steeped in aviation history. Groups on a tight time schedule may opt for just a guided tour, while those with a little more time may pair their tour with a fun and exciting educational program and/or rocket building class. Whichever you choose, your students will leave with a deeper appreciation of aviation's impact on society and of the importance of math, history, science, and art as tools needed for their future.
ESAM regularly participates in after school and in-class activities at schools across our region. Aviation programs are able to motivate and interest students, as well as provide educational value to supplement the curriculum. Please contact our office for more information on which of our programs could be the best fit for your needs.
